NB Fitness was developed to help clients build a solid foundation within the major weightlifting movements, such as the squat, deadlift, bench press, and shoulder press - but in a private one on one environment.

Everyone has that "Ah-Ha" moment when they decide they want to implement healthier lifestyle choices, such as getting to the gym on a regular basis. But, many of us also feel apprehensive about performing certain exercises at the gym because of the fact that we're "new", or even unaware of how to properly perform said exercise safely and efficiently. And let's not forget about all of the potential onlookers that fuel the potential embarrassment aspect of things.

But none of that is of concern while you're training with us thanks to our private studio! We're focused on building up a solid exercise foundation, knowledge of healthier lifestyle choices, and most importantly, confidence. All are key factors needed to continue a healthy lifestyle even after you've moved on from us - yes, you heard that right! At the end of the day, we want to help teach you the proper mechanics to perform the fundamental movements, build on your comfort and confidence to perform said movements, and be able to take these new found skills and knowledge and use them in the gym on your own! My Story

Speaking of that "Ah-Ha" moment, it all started back when I was a freshman at Northern Illinois University. It was a typical day - I was in between classes with nothing to do, so I ordered a pizza and started playing video games. On my walk to class every day, I passed the fitness center, and on this particular day, there was a group of guys heading in that were absolute monsters - big, muscular guys, almost shredded to the bone. It finally clicked - I wanted to look like that.

Fast forward 7 years, and here we are - still learning new tips, tricks, and techniques on a daily basis to help achieve the goal I had initially set out for. However, there's one big difference: I want to help pass what I've learned, and will continue to learn, to anyone else looking to make a transformation themselves! It'll be a tough road, and there's bound to be points where you want to give up, because trust me, I've been there. But here's a simple reminder that this is a long and tedious process, but putting in the time and effort will get you the results you're looking for...
